SNAP / EBT
Many of our market vendors accept SNAP/EBT benefits. These benefits help offset food costs and provide access to fresh, nutritious food for low-income Arkansas families. You can also stretch your SNAP dollars by taking advantage of the Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) program, a one-to-one dollar match that makes it easy to purchase locally grown produce at the Hot Springs Farmers & Artisans Market!

USE SNAP AT THE MARKET*
*MAIN SEASON ONLY, MAY-OCTOBER
HOW IT WORKS
-
Bring your SNAP/EBT Card to the HSFM table before you shop (MAIN SEASON ONLY May-October)
-
Market volunteers will process your SNAP / EBT Card for the amount you want to spend at the market, and you will receive copper-colored SNAP coins equal to the amount you paid on your card
-
Double Up Food Bucks will match what you spend up to $20 every market day. You can use them right away or later on to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, or plants that grow fresh fruits and vegetables
-
Go shopping! Buy snap-eligible food at the market with your SNAP/EBT dollars
